1st tip ,be really insured.this car has a one peice scuttle it clips into a retainer like most volkswagens nothing tricky ,the screen is encapsulated so there are no scary moulds there, to release the mirror just push it upwards towards the roof to release it , this screen has a radio ariel in it so to disconnect it you must remove the roof mounted interior light ,there is a triangular cover plate in the middle of the interior lights ,remove it then the 3 allen screws inside it and the whole unit releases from the roof giving you room to disconnect the wire. cut the screen out as normal , glass cost is a scary $5200.00
